A- Tripod has easy and extremely helpful tools to build websites. Other web providers are more complex and not as user-friendly as Tripod. This not an endorsement of Tripod, just an observation.

 

Question 2-- How were you able to produce extensive literature searches for the abstracts/papers posted on the site?

 

A- Ovid is an excellent tool for reviewing the medical literature. It permits the large volume of medical/dental periodicals to be searched based upon criteria the user selects. Ovide searches can even provide full text abstracts of some articles.

 

Question 3-- What broad categories of dental treatment are most needed and most treatment planned for U.S. dental patients?

 

A- 65% of the needed dental procedures belong to the categories of diagnostic and preventive. Essentially, most patients receive examinations and oral prophylaxis.
